Our weekend

In my previous post, I mentioned me and e had our one year and I had something special planned for us. I kept it a surprise until the day we left (which was hard for me ha). I booked a little bed and breakfast up in North Carolina close to myrtle beach which happened to be right on a vineyard.

We left and headed up I couldn't wait to see the little cottage we were staying in! It was perfect, cozy, quiet and just the two of us. We ha our own wine tasting as soon as we got there and then headed to get oysters for dinner, wine night To follow.

We had such a great time and really needed the us time. Here are a few pictures I captured over the weekend ..

Last but not least, he surprised me with a David yurman ring, I have been oogling over! I'm so loved!!!

one year of perfect-

This weekend marks a mile-stone of one beautiful year with such an amazing guy. I am truly one blessed girl to have found such a nurturing, sweet, gentle and happy man. Edwin nor I were looking for a companion when we met, we were actually both wanting the opossite. Who knew we would be so in love a year later. Now, I couldnt imagine life without him, he truly completes me. I never knew one person could be so perfect for me. I am so very excited to have planned a weekend to celebrate our anniversary, but of course i kept it a suprise for E, so I will have to wait to post about it until after the weekend. ( of course ill try to take pic's too). Happy One Year boo & im so lucky to have found someone so special. I love you dearly, heres to many many more! xo

Morningofmonday

This past weekend seemed It flew by so quickly. Went out friday night with the crew and of course me and liba found this guy who drew our picture.. im hoping my head isnt really that big. eek. Got some things down around the house, Sunday was laundry day (5 loads to be exact) and of course the NFL games were on.. So that was done solo. :) weirdly enough I don't mind doing laundry and dishes.. Odd l, I know. We had lunch Sunday afternoon with my mom, grandma and sister & then ran errands before coming home to tackle the mound of laundry.

I found some uber cute stuff on sale which of course makes it even better when buying. Ready for this week to be over because we have exciting things happening this coming up weekend, that I can hardly wait for!!

2013- Whats Your Resolution?

Same old every year, I make a list of about three (serious) resolutions for me to keep up with throughout the new year.. Most of the time, it stays serious for about 2 months.

This year will be different-

I have thought about my personal resolutions for a while here as the year came to an end. I have really pushed the important things to the front of my mind & want to steer really clear of doing these throughout the year. My most important one is finding a church home for me & Edwin. Being raised & growing up in a Lutheran church was wonderful, which I still attend regularly. I really want to find a church that Edwin & I can grow in our relationship as well our love for God together. Finding a church family can be difficult but I know God will lead us in the correct path and help us find the perfect place to grow with him. Next, I really want to get back to exercising- again, growing up dancing for 15 years I never stopped loving it. I would love to start teaching & getting into an adult class. this will happen! And last but not least- I really want to strive to be a better person. Everyone has hate, but i really want to look at the good in each person, whether they have hatred to more or not. Living by this will not only make me a better person but show others to do as well. I am so determined to live by these resolutions & make them happen.

I hope everyone has a fabulous New Years & hope you have some resolutions of your own.
