Yesterday, my wonderful boss and colleague of mine decided to put our crafty hands to the test. 

Brie is getting married in September and we have been helping her prep for her big day. 

She is using sunflowers as her main flower. She said she bought "hundreds" of fake sunflowers and didnt know what to use them for in the reception. Of course my favorite came to mind... SUNFLOWER BALLS!! 

They turned out great! She's planning on hanging these from the tall ceilings that are draped with fabric. Can't wait to see it all come together! 

Whew. Weddings are stressful!

Here are a few of my favorites right now that I have been racking up on.

all summer favorites of course-

Avenno Tint Moisturizer has legit been a life savor. This is perfect for a lake day/beach day when you do not want to put make up on an also protect with the SPF in it. I usually use it everyday under my make-up as well to give a little extra shine. love it.

 

I have ALWAYS had an obsession with clutches. I have about 40. (mostly from working at handpicked). that place got me in a ton of trouble. but oh so worth it now.

I RUINED my great pair of cowboy boots from all the years of tailgating for games. It was TIME for a new pair. And I am very picky about my boots :) Edwin got me the most perfect pair for my birthday and I cant wait to break them in.

 

 

 

The search for great cover ups are hard. I found this adorable one that will go perfect with any solid color bathing suits. the family is going to the beach in about a month and I am gonna put this to good use.

 

Working at the law firm full time right now is great for shift dresses. I love how comfy these are and throw on a pair of pumps and your ready to go. Is it just me or are dresses just 100% easier to accessorize and fly out the door?

 

Last but NOT least, I have added to my collection of wedeges this summer. and when I say added I mean by like 8 pairs...... eek. don't tell Edwin.

I had THE best birthday weekend. 

Friday night was Edwin's mom and SIL's birthday. We went out to dinner with his family and had a great time and of course ate YUM food. 

Saturday we had a fabulous group do dinner at one of my favorite spots cantina and then headed out. It was a blast. Saw some of my favorite people and couldn't have asked for a better night.  

Sunday- Edwin had to work all day. And I recovered(all day). Then my family came over and we cooked dinner! It was so fun. Love them. 

To say the least I had one great 22nd birthday!!!! Thanks for all the wishes and love. I couldn't have asked for anything better. 

birthday week!!

so- its officially my birthday week! I cannot believe that its already JULY! of course my most favorite month! Tonight (July 9) is my sisters birthday, so we will be celebrating with the family and lots of sushi. yum.


Edwin is working SUPER hard with work lately and has taken on a project that is launching this weekend. aka- wont be able to celebrate much.

I believe as of now we will be getting a group together and having dinner somewhere fun and out on the town.

we did it up BIG last year for my big 2-1. So I have to stop being a princess and lay low this year. I really am so grateful for my awesome family and perfect group of friends.

I will keep ya posted on the celebration activities. until then.

These past two weekends have been so eventful. I feel like my posts are always about my weekends being filled every second. Which really... They are. 

Last weekend we have Edwin'sbrothers surprise  party! He turned the big 4-0! We were so glad to be apart of his special day. He has such a special place in our hearts! 

This past weekend we celebrated July fourth. And we sure did celebrate!!! We were on the lake a good majority of the entire Friday through Sunday! So glad we got to see some of our favorite people!!
