ready to relax.

As my posts have said in the past like 5 months. we have been so so busy. between weddings, weekend trips, work, birthdays, etc. we have been NON- STOP. Edwin has worked ALOT this summer. He works for USC so his peak time is summer and of course when school starts- so we were not really "allowed" to take a full on vacation. My mom asked me at the beginning of summer if we wanted to go to the beach the week of labor day- and of course we jumped on that band wagon.

Mom has a friend whos house we rent for a week in my favorite (Hilton Head). If I could live anywhere else in SC it would be Hilton Head. I LOVE the fresh salty air and hip scenery. This coming up weekend is going to be a PACKED one then we leave for the beach. I honestly have been looking forward to this week for MONTHS.

This Thursday is the first USC home game- and of course we will be there. That will be a long eventful day! Plan on leaving work early and start the tailgating with our awesome friends.

MONDAY is OPENING DAY OF DOVE SEASON (sarcastic)-   Edwin is super excited to have the annual dove shoot down at the farm Saturday. I have memaws 75th birthday that day so I will hopefully get to end of the shoot to see how many birds we got! I sat in the field with Edwin last year, and I must say it was pretty exciting especially seeing sweet remmi in his element.

Then Wednesday we leave for the beach until sunday! I cant wait!!!!!!!

The ball.

The children's trust benefit gala was this weekend. It was beautiful! So glad that Edwin an I could be apart of the special night!

||weekend recap.||

This past weekend was a relaxing one. Which I do not get to say often- after this week we have lots and lots of activities coming up- (football,weddings, family vacation,etc) I can't wait! 

Sunday we spend the day down at Edwin's parents house which is what we refer to the "farm house" it is one of Edwin and I's favorite places to be! Remmi runs around with his best friends and I love the front porch view!

Last night we went to red bowl for date night! We had yummy food and we also went to yumalicious after. Eek.

Oh also- look at my adorable new iPad case I got in the mail yesterday. Obsessed.

So I finally got a new pair of awesome glasses that I was in desperate need for!

Celebrating 29 Years!

TODAY is Edwin's birthday! Cant believe he is 29! GAH! Saying that just gives me the chills. At least there is another year until the big 30! That will be another story!

Tonight is poker night with the guys, they will be at our house- but I wanted to celebrate last night ( I couldn't wait)- as usual.

I ordered Edwin a bunch of new clothes to "open" for his birthday, and got his windows tinted on his new truck. I must say 'something about a truck' and especially my hot boyfriend in it! eek.:)

Anyways- its become a tradition that Edwin pretty much EXPECTS an ice cream cake on his birthday. I put it in the outside freezer so he didn't see it.. and we had LATE night surprise time!

 

Edwin, I hope you have the most perfect birthday and all the smiles and love you can handle. You make the world such a better place by just being in it. I am truly so lucky to have you in my life. Thanks for loving me unconditionally and I cant wait to celebrate many more birthdays with you. I love you so very much.

This weekend was our friend randy and Mariah's big day! We were so glad we were able to be there to help celebrate! 

The wedding was in Beaufort so getting out of town was a plus! 

The rehearsal dinner was Friday night- and of course got to see some of our favorite people! 

Saturday was the big day! It was beautiful! 

We ate breakfast Sunday morning with a group of friends at the cutest place- with the best view.
